Below is annual schedule on KIT Moodle system.

Late MarchAnnual Update *1Create this year's new courses / make last year's courses unavailable(invisible).
Late MarchMoodle training sessions offered by CIS staff *2Instructions and trainings are offered by CIS faculty/staff members.
Early MayEnrol students to courses *3Students are enroled to the this year's courses.
Late MayRevisions to student's course registration records *3Student's course registration records are revised.
 
Late SeptemberMoodle training sessions offered by CIS staff *2Instructions and trainings are offered by CIS staff.
Late OctoberEnrol students to courses *3Students are enroled to the this year's courses.
 

*1 New courses are created every late March.

  • Create this year's new courses...
    • Including spring semester & fall semester.
    • All teachers are automatically enrolled in their courses to assign the role of teacher.
    • By default, all the new courses are "NOT VISIBLE", so they are NOT displayed to students as it is.
    • When you are ready to display the course to students, you can change the "Visible" setting to "Show" on the Edit course settings page in Administration block. For more detailed information, please refer to the page.
    • Furthermore, you need to set an enrollment key for students to self-enrol.
  • Make last year's courses unavailable(invisible).
    • All the last year's courses are made unavailable(invisible).
      • Students are NOT allowed to access.
      • Students are NOT allowed to enrol.
    • Unavailable/invisible courses are grayed out.
    • All the items in unavailable/invisible courses are left as they are.

*2 Moodle training sessions offered by CIS staff at the beginning of each semester.

*3 CIS enrol students to Moodle courses every year after their registration.
If you don't want to enrol any students to your course, please email to moodle-admin@ml.kit.ac.jp.

Those who are not in the list of students attending courses will be enroled in their courses to assign the role of student.
Those who have been already enroled aren't needed to enrol again.
Inspite that they have been already enroled but are not in the list of students attending courses, they are enroled as "student not registered yet".
The both "student not registered yet" and "students" have same roles. Difference names but same roles.
